Official Ceremony Locations

Details About Popular Locations

Bear Lake

This location has beautiful views and it’s the easiest location to access. This is also a great location to get to Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, The Loch, Mills or Lake Haiyaha before or after for photos. The downside to this location is that it is very busy year-round. Your guests may need to shuttle to the location.

Ceremony Size: Max 20 people and 5 cars. No weddings permitted from the Friday before Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day. No weekends any time.

Moraine Park Amphitheater

This location is set up as an amphitheater with wooden benches to sit. There are bathrooms nearby and lots of parking. It’s covered by a lot of trees to stay cool on the hotter days, but this does constrict your view of the mountains a bit.

Ceremony Size: Max 60 people in summer (100 in winter). 10 cars in summer.

Lily Lake

This is a handicap accessible trail to a small dock. You can choose from three different ceremony sites at Lily Lake - the Dock, the Trail, and the Southside Picnic Area. You can see the mountains the best from the dock but that is a very busy location as it’s right near the parking lot. They allow weekend rentals of this location.

Ceremony Size: Max of 10 guests at the dock, 20 at the trail, or 30 at the picnic area. Max 10 cars parked at the trailhead for any of the sites.

Sprague Lake

One of the most easily accessible sites. If there is no snow, the trail is wheelchair accessible. The trail around the lake is a short and easy walk, and has lots of good photo areas. There are also restrooms at the trailhead. Like Bear Lake, this location is very busy all year long with visitors.

Ceremony Size: Summer - Max 15 people and 3 cars; Winter - Max 30 people and 10 cars
